My name is Jihad Abu Shanab. I’m originally from Gaza and currently living in Germany. My entire family is still in Gaza, and our home was destroyed in the recent bombings. I have 8 siblings—some of them were injured, including one of my brothers and his young son, who are in urgent need of medical treatment abroad. My brother is a father of five, and their situation is extremely difficult.

I am doing everything I can to raise funds to help cover their medical treatment and the high costs of travel out of Gaza, which is nearly impossible under the current conditions. I also hope to bring my parents and siblings to safety—away from war, so they can live in peace and dignity.
