Hi friends and family. My name is Jamie Young for those who don't know me and thanks for your immense kindness. Thank you also to out of town friends and family for your concern for my family during these fires and to local friends who are giving to this campaign. My family is safe and our property unharmed. Unfortunately, 8 of my daughter Zoe's friends at Marymount High School in Los Angeles lost their homes in this catastrophic fire. My oldest childhood friend, Alisa, and her family also lost everything, including her home and business, in the Palisades Fire. Our friends, Tim and Abby, have major damage to their home in Altadena from the Eaton Fire and had to relocate while they figure out next steps. And we keep learning of more friends in our community who are recovering.

Hopefully, these families can rebuild, but in the meantime, they need help.

Many of you have asked how you can help, especially from afar. Please consider donating to this fund and all donations will go to purchasing items or giving funds to help families recover. So far my family has helped 12 families, providing donated items, including gift cards, new clothing, toiletries, and household items, or money via other GoFundMe campaigns.

I plan to continue to share updates on the distribution of items so you can see the direct impact you have.
