Black History Month Virtual Book Drive for NYC Schools

In 2022, we successfully raised over $5K in honor of MLK Day of Service. Those funds were used to purchase over 300 books and 15 Kindles, which were donated to 7 schools throughout the five boroughs. Many of the donated books highlighted Black architects and engineers—a nod to our firm's work in A/C/E.

In honor of Black History Month this year, CG NY is raising funds to purchase books that center Black stories and authors. These books will be donated to various K-12 public schools throughout NYC. Many public schools in underserved communities struggle to provide quality materials to their students due to lack of funding and resources—here is where we come in:

Our goal is to raise $5,000, which will go to purchasing electronic and physical books for students from early education through high school. Help us reach our goal by contributing and/or sharing this fundraiser with others. Your contributions will help us achieve our goal in giving back to our communities!
