About Our Family

Hi, I’m Nancy Scoble, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my daughter Emily and her family.

Their household has gone from three incomes to one after a botched foot surgery left Emily bedridden for over six months. She faces another major surgery on October 24th to try to correct the ongoing issues, but her bones have struggled to fuse, making her recovery time uncertain.

At the same time, her son Zachary has been very sick for two months, mostly bedridden due to severe weakness and dizziness. Doctors are now waiting on a CT scan to confirm what they suspect may be a tumor behind his eardrum and a cyst on his mastoid bone. If confirmed, he will need tumor removal surgery and a prosthetic bone in his ear.

The family is struggling to make ends meet, as the only other adult in the home has had to stay home to care for Emily, Zachary, and their animals.
