I do hope this message finds you having a Happy New Year. I'm not going to lie, as I start to write and tell you my story of what brought me to GoFundMe, my hands are shaking. I have always been the person who gives and helps others expecting nothing in return. My grandmother always told me you help from the heart, not what you expect to gain in return. I have always lived my life that way.

This is very hard for me, but I can truly admit at this point in my life and journey, I am stuck and scared. I was diagnosed with TNBC (Triple Negative Breast Cancer) a few months ago. Being on the other end of the phone hearing a doctor tell you that your results came back positive and you have one of the most aggressive forms of breast cancer out there was a total gut punch to me. I couldn't breathe at that moment. I literally saw my life as I knew it flash before my eyes. At that point, I had to get it together and remember why I do what I do in the healthcare industry myself. That is help individuals who are in my exact position, which is to survive and not let the enemy take over the narrative. I am drowning with the present treatment plan and medical bills ahead of me.

This diagnosis has caused me to fall behind financially and mentally. I really need your help at this moment. I am not the first and won't be the last to have to fight this fight, but once I'm on the other side, I want to help as many others as possible to achieve the same success and tell their story.

What Is Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC)?

Triple-negative breast cancers tend to grow and spread more quickly than other types of breast cancer. Because of this, triple-negative breast cancer is considered to be more aggressive than other forms of breast cancer.

Like other invasive types of breast cancer, TNBC is more likely to spread beyond the breast (metastatic breast cancer) and return after treatment. Treatment for TNBC is more limited than other breast cancers.
