Help Us Donate AAPI Books to The Hun School of Princeton Library!
As part of our commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in education, we are raising funds to donate a collection of books by prominent AAPI authors to The Hun School of Princeton's library. This initiative aims to expand the representation of Asian voices in literature, particularly focusing on the works of renowned authors such as Han Kang and Mo Yan.
By donating these books, we hope to provide students with access to profound and diverse stories that explore themes of identity, history, and culture from the perspectives of two of Asia’s most celebrated authors. Han Kang, known for her stunningly poetic novels like The Vegetarian and Human Acts, explores human nature, trauma, and resilience. Mo Yan, a Nobel laureate, masterfully weaves historical and social commentary through works like Red Sorghum and Big Breasts and Wide Hips, offering readers a unique lens on China’s complex history.
Your donation will:
Increase representation of AAPI voices in the school's literary collection.
Encourage students to engage with diverse perspectives and narratives.
Foster a deeper understanding of Asian history, culture, and contemporary issues.
Every contribution, big or small, will go directly toward purchasing and donating these invaluable books to The Hun School of Princeton.
Together, we can broaden the horizons of young readers and inspire a more inclusive literary future.
Thank you for supporting this important cause!
