As you know Hudson passed away in June 2024 in Birmingham children’s hospital. Currently babies and children that pass away in the hospital are either carried by their parents or transferred on a bed by staff to the Rainbow room (chapel of rest).

4Louis are a charity that we were introduced to in Hudson’s final hours of life. They offer every bereaved family a memory box filled with beautiful products to create keepsakes such as hand casting kits, candles and memory bears.

4louis have now created a Privacy Pram which hospitals can purchase which enables the baby or small child to be transported to the chapel of rest in privacy.

Birmingham Children’s is a big hospital and when carrying or transporting your recently deceased baby, the journey feels so much longer. I know - I’ve walked those corridors myself.

This Christmas I’d like to donate at least £500 to purchase a Privacy pram to gift to the hospital that cared so lovingly for Hudson. Every parent should be able to transport their child in privacy, respecting their dignity.

I know Christmas is tight for people but if 500 of my friends donated £1 each we could raise enough money to purchase a pram.
