Help Kumba to win his fight with a brain tumor

Hi, our name is Travis and Nicole we are fundraising for Kumba. Kumba is our Boston Terrier and he has a Brain tumor. The tumor has come on very fast, we got confirmation late June after a number of vet visits leading to an MRI that showed a Meningioma located behind the eye. Fortunately the tumor is benign and Kumba is otherwise healthy but as the tumor grows inwards to the brain it’s causing pressure that interferes with the brain’s process and as a result Kumba is no longer independent. We have made many adjustments to life in order to provide Kumba 24 hour care and we are so thankful we have been able to do this for him. If the tumor goes untreated it will soon cause seizures and inevitable lead to his death. In fact with no treatment, Kumba has been given a month to live, but fortunately for him there is a treatment! We have been told that this type of tumor responds well to SRT radiation, this treatment involves a CT scan and 4 consecutive days of radiation that should shrink the tumor and bring Kumba back to his normal, healthy, loving self again. Due to the limited availability of SRT radiation it is very costly, we were given an estimate of more than $12,000. To add to this we have already spent $4,000 for the MRI and other diagnostics, we try our best to always be able to pay for our pets but this is really expensive and we need your help. We will be taking time off work and staying out of town since there is no location in our state that does this type of radiation.
