Donald Wight - Saving a Veteran

Donation protected
What would you do if your Father, Brother, friend, lover, or protector was told he would die a horrific and painful death from Cancer and that there was no hope?  Wouldn’t you do everything possible to save him, even it meant sending him out of the country for treatment?  Wouldn’t you try to help him to have another Father’s Day with his son, another wedding anniversary, help him to see your child graduate or get married?

Don is a United States Army veteran who has been educating people on Constitutional rights and relentlessly protecting those rights per his Oath.

Around Labor Day 2014, Don began having medical issues.  At first, he thought this was related to an injury he sustained from a fall on the ice the prior winter, but it quickly became clear there was something else going on.  Working with his urologist, he was tested and told he had BPH, a benign condition. This continued for 18 months. He sought out the help of a vascular surgeon at Inova hospital in Alexandria, VA. Thanks to additional tests run by the doctor there, an MRI detected an anomaly on the pelvic bone. More tests were run. Don was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Prostate Cancer in March of 2016. The only treatments available in the United States include chemical castration and chemotherapy. The oncologist says that at best, this will buy him 3 to 17 months of life. Don has decided to have treatment at Oasis of Hope. This therapy will include clean diet and treatments only available for his type of cancer outside the country. Although there is no guarantee it will save him, most likely it will extend his life so he can be there for his family and give him quality of life. It is possible to force cancer into spontaneous remission.

If you have ever lost someone to cancer, believe a veteran should have freedom to have a choice in his treatment, or just believe in supporting him in trying to survive and be there for those who need him, please consider donating to his cause. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you please pray for him and share this page.  Every dollar counts in the battle against cancer. Thank you.
