Donald Smith funeral expenses and medical bills

Donny was at Evelyn’s house which is a hospice facility in St. Louis associated with Barnes Jewish Hospital, we chose to send him there because Barnes has been so good to him and they have done everything they could to save him, his last days were spent in a more comfortable setting and we were able to spend more time with him. On Sunday January 17th his LVAD was turned off that was keeping his heart pumping. He had been unresponsive for several weeks and they believe it is because the heart is not able to pump enough to send the blood to his brain, he had been at Barnes for 32 days. He has always been a fighter and he has proven that time and again over the last year. I believe the lord is calling him home and is giving us enough time to say goodbye, none of us wanted it to come to this or have to make this decision. He has been the best father and husband anyone could ever ask for. We have created this go fund me to help with the cost of funeral expenses and medical bills that our mother is having a hard time paying. Whatever you can give would help our family during this time.
