Today June 21,2023 Donald J Derryberry lost his battle at 10:37 am. He fought as hard as he could and as much as his body would allow. Being that my brother was so young, end of life preparations were not in place for his sudden departure. My baby brother leaves behind his parents, two brothers, a sister, three beautiful children and many family and friends that have shared many years of laughter, tears, love, struggles, victories and so much more. I am asking for help to make the following possible. We are planning to come together Tuesday June 27,2023 @ Bay Area Funeral Directors on 5410 FM 1765, HWY 3. @ 1765 Texas City Texas 77591. Visitation 10am-12pm Chapel Service 12:00pm-1:30pm. I feel as if we have been here before and the gratitude to everyone that helped my brother and his kids the first time he was in the hospital moved mountains in his recovery. This time it is with a heavy heart that I ask for help in saying goodbye. His soul is at peace and he feels no pain is where we are finding some comfort. So with that I am asking for help in the process of giving closure with his passing.
