Help Donald the Sweet Pit Bull Start His New Life After a Year in the Shelter
After spending over a year at the Orange County Animal Care Center, Donald’s time had run out. Despite being named Pet of the Week less than three months ago, he faced euthanasia simply because no one had stepped up in time.
But thanks to a last-minute miracle — Donald is safe. ❤️
Donald is a two-year-old neutered pit bull mix who came into the shelter scared, unsure of people, and withdrawn. But with the patient love of dedicated volunteers, Donald blossomed, just like they always said he would. One volunteer shared, “He may be shy at first, but once you offer him a treat, he blooms like a flower in spring.”
Today, Donald is thriving in a foster home in Northern California, living with a wonderful family and several foster dog brothers. He’s discovering what love, safety, and companionship truly feel like — things he’s never known before.
Now, we’re asking for your help to support Donald’s second chance. Your donation will go directly toward:
Ongoing vet care and wellness checks
Transport costs from the shelter to his foster
Food, supplies, and enrichment for Donald and his foster siblings
Support for his transition into a forever home
Donald waited in a kennel for over a year. Let’s show him that he was worth the wait — and that he’ll never be forgotten again.
Please consider donating and sharing. Every dollar helps Donald continue this beautiful new chapter.
Thank you for believing in second chances.
