On Friday Jan 17,2020 Andrew was rushed to the hospital after having what was thought to be a heart attack. After hours of test and labs the ER determined that it was “Atypical pneumonia” but Andrew was still needing O2 to help him breathe. After asking the doctor to reconsider discharge they ended up admitting him when his oxygen levels would not stabilize. Later that evening Andrew progressively got worse and was struggling to breathe and required more and more oxygen. He was rushed off to another test to find out if he had a blood clot in his lungs, after that even more tests with no answers. After an ECHO it was discovered that Andrew had a very rare heart valve disfunction that spontaneously happened. There were finally answers and a cure to the issues he was having. Andrew will have surgery to replace his valve after more tests to make sure there is no added danger to the surgery. He will be out of work for One to two months if all goes well.
Andrew’s wife is a hardworking RN and they collectively have 2 teenaged boys and a 6 year old girl. Please help if you can to pray and support this family financially while they struggle through the next couple of months to regain their footing as Andrew recovers from a major heart surgery.
