En agosto de 2023, la vida de Montserrat López Dueñas, cofundadora de La Paceña, dio un giro inesperado: fue diagnosticada con un cáncer de mama agresivo.

Comenzó un camino lleno de retos —quimioterapia, cirugía y radiación— que puso a prueba no solo su cuerpo, sino también su espíritu. En medio del cansancio y el dolor, Montse hizo una promesa:

✨ “Si salgo adelante, dedicaré mi vida a que otras mujeres no tengan que pasar por este mismo sufrimiento.”

De esa promesa nació La Noche Rosa, un evento con causa que une gastronomía, arte y solidaridad para transformar vidas.

En su primera edición (2024), gracias al apoyo de nuestra comunidad, logramos donar 59 mastografías a mujeres de la Ribera de Chapala. Este 2025 queremos repetir ese logro… ¡y si es posible, superarlo!

Nuestra meta inicial es $70,800 MXN, que equivale a 59 estudios.

Pero nuestro verdadero objetivo es superar por mucho ese número, y con la recaudación de la Noche Rosa 2025 podremos llegar aún más lejos.

Con tu ayuda, más mujeres podrán acceder a la detección temprana del cáncer de mama, una acción que salva vidas.

In August 2023, the life of Montserrat López Dueñas, co-founder of La Paceña, took an unexpected turn: she was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer.

She began a journey full of challenges —chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation— that tested not only her body but also her spirit. In the midst of pain and exhaustion, Montse made a promise:

✨ “If I make it through, I will dedicate my life to ensuring that other women don’t have to go through the same suffering.”

From that promise, Pink Night (La Noche Rosa) was born — a charity event that brings together gastronomy, art, and solidarity to transform lives.

In its first edition (2024), thanks to the support of our community, we were able to donate 59 mammograms to women in the Lake Chapala area. In 2025, we want to achieve the same goal… and hopefully surpass it!

Our initial goal is $70,800 MXN, which equals 59 screenings.

But our true aim is to go far beyond that number, and with the funds raised from Pink Night 2025 we will be able to reach even further.

With your help, more women will gain access to early detection of breast cancer — an action that saves lives.
