Ciao, mi chiamo Giovanni, ho iniziato a raccogliere i fondi per mio cugino Alessandro Lai e la sua famiglia.

Alessandro è nato a Cagliari il 28/10/91 con una malformazione al cuore "Truncus Arteriosus Comunis".

Già al primo mese di vita ha dovuto subire la sua prima operazione al cuore, la seconda a 5 anni, a 13 il terzo intervento a cuore aperto per il trapianto dell'aorta.

Il quarto intervento è stato recente, ora dovrà sottoporti al quinto nell'ospedale "University Hospital Southampton"

il giorno 21 settembre.

La sua famiglia ha bisogno di supporto economico per poter soggiornare e supportarlo nei giorni dell'intervento e durante i 60 giorni di convalescenza.

I fondi verranno utilizzati per l'alloggio 600 € a settimana e per mangiare.

Hello, my name is Giovanni, I've started this funding for my cousin Alessandro Lai and his family.

Alessandro was born in Cagliari on the 28.10.1991 with a heart congenital disease called "Truncus Arteriosus Comunis".

He had his first cardiac surgery at 1 month old, the second one at 5 years old, the third one at 13 years old. The fourth surgery was in 2014. He is now going to have is 5th surgery which will be his 4th time sternotomy and will take place on the 21st of September 2023 at the "Southampton General Hospital".

His family needs help to sustain the cost of staying in England during the surgery and for the rest of the recovery which will take between 4 to 8 weeks.

The funds will be used to pay the cost of 600€ per week to stay near the hospital and be able to cover food and basic needs.

The beneficiary will receive the funds through the GoFundMe or through international bank payments.
