Hi, my name is Oscar. I am a PhD researcher working on an innovative project with a bold mission: to democratize Artificial Intelligence.
I have developed and proven a framework that, once fully completed, will allow anyone to run the most advanced AI systems with greater energy efficiency than NVIDIA’s own code—and crucially, without being forced to exclusively use NVIDIA GPUs.
Why This Matters
Currently, the AI industry is bottlenecked by a reliance on specific hardware. By making AI code hardware-agnostic, this project will:
- Foster true competition among AI chip manufacturers.
- Drastically reduce the costs and energy consumption of AI and make autonomous machines more capable.
- Empower millions of researchers worldwide who use AI to cure diseases, reverse climate change, develop recycling technologies, explore the universe, and make our lives simpler and safer.
Why I Need Your Help
I could try to sell this technology to a tech giant, but they would undoubtedly make it proprietary and lock it to their own chips. That defeats the entire purpose of my work. My goal is for everyone to be able to use the same highly efficient AI codebase (and other scientific applications) on chips from any manufacturer.
I am asking for your help so I can dedicate 100% of my time over the next two years to finish my PhD, which involves further developing and demonstrating this technology.
The Roadmap
- 100% Open Source: Just as I am doing now, all the work I produce will be released in a free, Open-Source format so anyone can use it.
- The Future: After these two years, I aim to have the definitive research proof needed to raise further funding and create (or join) a foundation dedicated to these open goals.
- Stretch Goals: If we exceed the minimum funding goal, I will be able to hire additional people to help me and accelerate our progress!

Hola, me llamo Oscar. Soy investigador de doctorado y estoy trabajando en un proyecto innovador con una misión audaz: democratizar la Inteligencia Artificial.
He desarrollado y demostrado un marco de trabajo que, una vez completado al 100%, permitirá a cualquier persona ejecutar los sistemas de IA más avanzados con mayor eficiencia energética que el propio código de NVIDIA, y lo que es más importante, sin la obligación de usar exclusivamente GPUs de NVIDIA.
Por qué es importante
Actualmente, la industria de la IA está limitada por la dependencia de un hardware específico. Al hacer que el código de la IA sea independiente del hardware (agnóstico), este proyecto logrará:

Por qué necesito tu ayuda
Podría intentar vender esta tecnología a una gran multinacional, pero sin duda la harían privativa y la limitarían a sus propios chips. Eso va en contra del objetivo de mi proyecto. Mi visión es que todo el mundo pueda usar el mismo código base de IA de alta eficiencia (y cualquier otra aplicación científica) con chips de cualquier fabricante.
Pido tu ayuda para poder dedicar el 100% de mi tiempo durante los próximos dos años a terminar mi doctorado, lo que implica desarrollar más y demostrar más esta tecnología.
El plan de acción
- 100% Código Abierto (Open-Source): Como ya estoy haciendo, todo mi trabajo se publicará en un formato libre y de código abierto para que cualquiera pueda utilizarlo.
- El futuro: Después de estos dos años, espero tener las pruebas de investigación definitivas para conseguir más financiación y crear (o unirme a) una fundación con estos mismos objetivos.
- Objetivos ampliados: ¡Si superamos la meta mínima de financiación, podré contratar a más personas para que me ayuden y así avanzar más rápido!
