Don't Strike Out the Teran Family

When I moved to Austin, TX in late 2011 the Teran family became my Tucson home tenants. They were a beautiful family of 6; Abel and Adrianne Teran and their troupe of girls, 4 little ones. The youngest was still an infant when they signed the lease. Now the oldest is a young adult.
The first couple years seemed seamless, both Adrianne and Abel had stable employment, Abel with Arsarco mining Company and Adrianne with the State of AZ.
Then life got challenging. Adrianne was diagnosed with Cancer. The fight for life and balancing a family ensued. This precious mom fought with all her might, continued working while receiving chemo, all the while Abel staying strong. They were such a tight family unit with love and the security of their family unity.
Finally, after years of treatment and multiple surgeries, Adrianne gave up working. As the medical bills piled up Abel worked double time and continued to hold the family financially together.
In August of 2018 Adrianne lost her fight with That unforgiving disease, leaving her four girls and an already struggling husband in new harsh reality. A lonely and longing reality without the cornerstone of their very lives.
This incredible man continued to hold this fragile yet determined family together. His dedication, love, and unwavering commitment has remained inspirationally evident.
October 2019 brought another challenge to Abel Teran and his family. The employees at the mining company he had dedicated multiple years of his life to went on strike whereby there has yet to be a resolution brought and accepted to the table. He has taken work on a part time basis to get through the holidays and is now continuing to find resolution.
The Teran family is strong, they are resilient, and they are filled with love. What they need is a fair shake. Abel needs to pay off multiple medical bills, keep the present bills paid, and provide for the future of his grieving family.
