Don't Give Up Austin, we ALL love you!

It's extremely hard to write this but as many of you know already my little brother, Austin Bingham, was in a very unfortunate accident on 10/21/19. Austin was riding his bicycle to work when he collided with a truck. He was rushed right over to the Portland Maine hospital because the bigger hospital was more equipped for his injuries. His jaw is broken in 5 places and his face has many breaks all over it. His femur is shattered in 3 places. His face is hardly recognizable and he has a breathing tube and balloons in his nose to hold his airways open. He should be getting a tracheotomy soon! Austin has already gone under 2 successful surgeries, he has 4 scheduled today but has many more to go! They will be doing a full face reconstruction before trying to wake him from his medically induced coma.  However, the doctors now believe he is developing pneumonia due to aspirating blood into his lungs.
It's been so tough on my family to see Austin in this condition. He is typically so full of life and super energetic. Austin has such a big heart and would literally do ANYTHING for anyone. Also, Austin is expected to be a dad (for the first time) in roughly 30 days. So he REALLY NEEDS to recover so he can be there for his little princess and his girlfriend Desi Somerville.

Unfourtanely, Austin's medical bills are already racking up. The doctor is expecting him to have a long recovery process and he won't be able to work for about a year. My mom, Katherine Routhier, is trying to stay in Portland to be close to Austin and be able to give consent when needed. However, she was not financially prepared for this accident and is struggling to book hotels to stay close to him.

The money we are asking for will go directly towards medical bills, living expenses, physical therapy, and other things Austin may need to make a recovery. Also it will be used for anything his new born will need & for my mom to stay close to him during this difficult time.

My family has never asked for anything over Facebook before and we wouldn't be asking if we didn't desperately need help. We are asking for donations (even $5 will help at this point!), SHARES and PRAYERS!!! We are SO grateful for anything you can do, we just want Austin to recover!
