Diane Woerner loves flowers. However, she requested that we don’t send her a bunch of floral arrangements after the loss of her husband of 45 years. Instead, she has requested help covering the costs of his burial, some recent medical bills, and some other transitional costs.

Being the first time we’ve gone through this as a family, we’ve estimated around $15,000 as the total costs of medical bills and burial. However, we’d love to exceed that number for my mom as there are numerous other costs that keep popping up.
