Hi, my name is Audreanna. I am Wanda Richard's daughter. As a lot of you know Don had an accident on Thursday, May 12. Don fell from a 2nd story roof while at a job site. Emergency personal was called and Don was rushed to South Bend Memorial trauma center, Don sustained a broken left wrist, L2 in his back is broken & 3 breaks to his pelvis. Don had some internal bleeding from the pelvis break so was rushed to an emergency surgery that afternoon. Plates & pins were placed in and thru his pelvis. Surgery was a success to his pelvis and at this time they will not be doing a back surgery, but have chosen to do a back brace. Don will be having the surgery on his wrist Saturday morning, May 14th. We pray that surgery will also be successful.. So far my mom, Wanda has been informed that there is no Comp insurance for Dons incident. Wanda and Don have helped so many in need, they are hard working, giving & so loving. They are not ones to beg or ask for help.. But I will, Don will be wheelchair bound for at least 3months. This will be a long process. That means no working for Don, the medical bills will be outrageous of course. So I am asking on their behalf for help, from our/their friends & family. Nothing is to little.. Everything adds up & will be so helpful!
