On the morning of August 17th my father was in a logging accident. He has sustained injuries to most of his upper body. A series of fractures, including his skull and upper spine, a dislocated shoulder and a ruptured cornea among other things. He was flown to Corvallis hospital for observation and diagnosis then took an ambulance ride to OHSU in Portland. He has come through his first surgery to repair the cornea, like a champ. But, will continue to be monitored by a trauma team and need more CT’s. Prayers and wishful thoughts are all we are asking for but, the wonderful community surrounding my father and our family has asked how to help Deb and my Dad financially.
