Sergeant Don L. Nix, retired from the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, has sadly passed away. He led a life of service, was admired by many, and was a hero to his wife and children. He will be greatly missed by all.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, we are asking for donations to help cover the cost of the funeral and memorial expenses. Any additional funds will be used to help pay off the home mortgage. Perhaps unsurprising to those who knew him, Don did not believe in life insurance. The goal amount is less than our actual need. His family greatly appreciates any and all support, no matter the amount.
