In place of flowers, we kindly ask for donations towards a memorial in loving memory of our Dad.

Fishing was a lifelong passion of his — one he loved sharing with those around him. Dad spent much of his free time fishing alongside mum at the carp lake where he proudly served as a bailiff. It brought him so much joy, peace (and quiet). Over the years he taught his children, friends, and family how to fish too. The man really was an expert.

We had a family holiday booked for August this year, where Dad was excited to teach his granddaughter, Lottie, how to fish for the very first time. When she turned one, he bought her a toy fishing game that she quickly became obsessed with. Following his passing, we also received a surprise parcel containing a children’s fishing rod set that he had planned to have personalised for her.

To honour Dad’s memory and continue his passion, we hope to place a number of carp into the lake he loved fishing for so many years, alongside planting a tree in his memory.

Any contribution will be deeply appreciated and will help us create a lasting tribute to Dad while continuing his fishing legacy.
