Don McGahan, Jr. Medical Relief Account

Hello - I am Michael McGahan and I am helping to organize a raise up for my youngest brother, Donnie.

Recently, Donnie underwent surgery to remove a a cancerous growth on his colon. This procedure appears to have been successful, but in less than two months the doctors will have to go back in to remove cancer from a second area. Fortunately, this is a slow moving cancer. Prognosis is encouraging, but it is still cancer and we all know the gravity of that.

Donnie is in strong spirits and we know he has always been a fighter. Knowing him like I do, beating this will be just another example of his strength of character and fortitude. Through the love and support of his wife, Beverly, their son Ryan and all his friends and relatives, they will get through this.

However, medical bills are starting to mount along with everything else life tends to to throw at you at the worst time. Donnie will not be able to work again for four or five months, minimum (if all goes well). Donnie has worked his contracting business and in restaurants over the years, so if he can't work, cash flow suffers needless to say.

The stress of cancer, another surgery, not able to work, recovery and all that come with it is a lot for anyone to bare. Any amount of help to Donnie and Bev as they face these challenges will be greatly appreciated.
