Don Martin's Bone Marrow Transplant

Donation protected

Many of you know Don and Angie's story, but for those of you who do not, I want to share it with you.  Don and Angie have endured terrible tragedy in the last few months.  They lost their son, Blake , in a log truck accident in August of 2019.   Exactly, six months later (to the day) in February, Don was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia.  This is a very rare form of cancer considering Don's age.  Don is a welder and has been unable to work since his diagnosis, due to the strict chemotherapy schedule.  Don has responded well to the chemo,  but will require a bone marrow transplant next month.  Angie is working to keep a roof over their heads and pay their normal bills.   I am asking each of you to consider giving anything you may be able to spare, to help get them through this rough patch so that they can try to focus on his healing and not on what they can salvage in light of the current medical requirements that Don not go to work while receiving treatment.   If you need an occasional good laugh  add Don on facebook.  He has remained positive through this process and regularly posts things that I promise will make you laugh. You will be inspired to see how someone can remain so positive in times that seem so dark.  #cancersucks #covidsucks #racismsucks #murderhornetssuck #quarantinesucks #carolbaskinsucks
