First, I extend my best wishes to all the Don Felix customers and wish you all good health.
As you all know, in light of the current Pandemic situation, all restaurants that do not do delivery or take out have had to close their doors since March 17th. Unfortunately, the bar staff and table servers at theses restaurants have been severely impacted financially. Their hourly rate is very low and the supplemental tip money does not exist at this time. Also, it seems that returning to work may not happen for a while.
It is for this reason that I decided to start a GoFundMe page to try to raise money to support the great staff of Don Felix Bar and Restaurant. For every dollar collected, I will, as the owner, match same with an additional 50% of the total. This fund will be distributed to all staff members equally.
