Don, Elizabeth and baby Ashton

This is Don, Elizabeth  and baby Ashton Daugherty. Don is 46 years old and was recently diagnosed with glioblastoma multi form grade 4. A rare, fast moving, terminal brain cancer. He and his wife Elizabeth have been married for 20 years this August and were blessed with their sweet baby boy a year ago. Since Don's diagnosis he has undergone a craniotomy to remove what could be removed of the tumor, he has completed radiation and is currently on maintenance dosages of chemotherapy. He's recently been showing new symptoms either caused from swelling on the brain due to radiation or possible progression. Symptoms like headaches and severe sleepiness, some vision loss and unsteadiness on his feet. They are waiting for his disability to be approved which could take God only knows how long. Ashton has to go to daycare while Elizabeth works, which is an added expense and being down to one income is hard. They need our help! We can't take away cancer and we can't take away heartache but we can come together and relieve some financial stress for the Daughertys. With the shock and fear of this diagnosis and the unrelenting fight against this cancer, the last thing this family needs to worry about are financial stresses.
