Don Dangerfield's Family Needs Help!
Donation protected
Don Dangerfield had a dynamic persona bigger than life. An expert musical show man onstage and a caring giving person to everyone he met even if he just met you. Off stage he was a medical care giver who dedicated himself naturally to caring for people especially the elderly. A rare gem of a man.
In December he passed away from complications from a stroke at the age of 73. The family he leaves behind are two. His Mother and Sister Terry. Mother Dangerfield is 91 and is incapacitated health wise and Terry dealing with the family situation and during the time of Don's stroke and taking care for his potential recovery which ultimately led to his demise its been an extreme financial devastation for 1 person to handle. Terry has shared that the insurance company has refused to help in Don's case and she has appealed several times but has been informed by them that if and only if they accept on these additional appeals for financial relief it could take up to 30 days for an answer. We do not have that much time to wait so I am helping her by asking here.
My name is Patrick Recob and I am setting up this gofundme campaign to assist Terry to raise $3,000 of which includes $2,500 to retrieve Don's body for cremation but she does not have the funding necessary to retrieve his remains so the he can be properly laid to rest and the remainder for additional funeral costs. We do not have a lot of time as Don's memorial/celebration in Grandview, MO is Saturday January, 14, 2023.
About me and my involvement, I played Bass in Don's extremely popular Band DANGERFIELD McNALLY for a significant period of time. John McNally and I are assisting Terry through this situation with what we can do. Terry has reached out to me to assist in letting the people know that Don has passed away and of the current dire situation as I have a strong social media presence and added with the fact she does not know how to make that work.
Please consider donating what you can to help lay Don to rest properly especially if you knew him or if his music ever touched your soul. Please share this campaign on your pages and on behalf of Sister Terry… "Thank You".
