Hello, I'm Chad Ciardo, Don's son. As most of you are seeing this through Facebook, you've seen my posts about the health challenges my father is having. What was supposed to be a routine heart valve replacement surgery on Monday, the 27th of December ended up with my father having a stroke that has left him bed ridden ever since. He finally made it out of the ICU this past Friday and is going through rehab and therapy. The therapists are seeing progress, but it's very slow. Unfortunately, he has a long road ahead of him, and the medical bills are adding up, and his planned return to work this month is now postponed until an undetermined time. As you can imagine, medical bills and not being able to work isn't a good combo. On top of all this, he recently went through probably one of the worst cases of identity fraud I've seen, and we are still working to get it under control. In addition to his current challenges, the fraud has cost him a lot of money.

Now if you know my dad, he would give anyone the shirt off his back, or the last dollar in his pocket to help them. Sadly, the tables have turned and now he could use a little help. He would never ask himself, so that's why I'm here doing it for him. If you can help in any way, our family would appreciate it more than words can say.
