Don Carroll's Motorcycle Crash (Ann's Husband)
Donation protected
I'm creating this campaign for my best friend Ann and her husband Don, my daughter's God Parents.
On the evening of April 30, 2021, Don was riding his Harley home from Lake Isabella when, for reasons unknown, he drove off the road. Unfortunately, Don was riding alone and there are no witnesses to what caused him to leave the roadway. He sustained major injuries.
Fortunately, he was found by a nurse who cared for him until EMTs could arrive. In addition to other injuries, he is recovering from multiple fractures, including fractures to his neck and back, a punctured lung and head injury. He is unable to breathe on his own and as of today he is still unable to speak because of the tracheotomy. The good news is he is getting stronger everyday but he is still in ICU.
With medical bills mounting and the loss of income, combined with his wife Ann's desire to be near her husband during his recovery, the need for financial assistance is becoming a reality. This GoFundMe has been set up to assist Ann and Don with these costs. No donation is too small, every dollar donated is appreciated beyond words.
I pledge to match the first $500.00 donated to this GoFundMe campaign.
Donny and Annie are blessed and grateful for the many friends, family and co- workers who have reached out with prayers, emotional support and inquiries about what they can do to help. Please continue to pray for Don's recovery.
On behalf of Don's entire family, thank you for all your love and support.
