Hi my name is Dale, Dons’ twin brother. Don is currently being treated for Leukemia. It’s been a bit of a struggle for the last few months. Taking him to appointments, sitting in the hospital with him and watching him go thru this. The next round of treatment will be the hardest, chemo and full body radiation treatment. If all goes well he will get a marrow transplant. The hospital stay will be around 35-40 days. This is in addition to the 7 weeks he’s already been admitted due to underlying infections and having emergency gallbladder surgery. He has a few other issues that complicate his recovery, such as being diabetic, having ankylosing spondylitis to mention a few. The family will be taking care of him 24 hrs a day when he comes home. They will be using unpaid family leave to do this. Which brings us to his needs. It would be beneficial if he could get a lift recliner chair to help him when he goes to stand. Help with co payments, medicines required, paying bills, etc. if you can please donate, if you can’t please pray for him and his family in this time of hardship.
