On Wednesday Mar 15th Donald and Vicki Bundy lost their home to a devastating house fire.  A house that has been in my mother’s family for over 100 years.  My grandfather, mom, uncles and cousins all grew up in the house on the hill.    

Thankfully though everything important…my parents, their dog Abbey and my nephew (who was staying with my parents while on Spring Break) got out safely.  Unfortunately, though they have lost pretty much everything they owned.  The only cloths they have are what they had on their backs when they walked out the door. 

While insurance will help, it will hardly cover everything lost and will take time to work with the insurance company to even get to that step.  They are working to salvage what they can but unfortunately what wasn’t destroyed by the fire was ruined by smoke and water damage. 

My brother and I would replace everything if we had the means, however we are only able to do so much.  If you know my parents, you know that they are caring, loving and generous people who would do anything for anyone.    Also they are too humble to ask for help, with that my brother and I wanted to for them.  Any donations big or small, or even just a share on Facebook will be appreciated more than words can say.
