Don and Lupe's Life is Washing Away

Don and Lupe Kaiser have been hard-working members of the Billings community for their whole lives. They bought their dream home around 13 years ago, and have worked hard to turn it into the perfect abode for them to spend the rest of their lives in. Unfortunately, that is no longer a possibility, because their home is being ripped apart and washed away by an uncontrolled flood of irrigation water, and there is no legal recourse available, or liable entity for them to pursue. Their only option is to declare bankruptcy and vacate their home before it is condemned. Additionally, Lupe suffers from various chronic medical conditions that had already made their retirement years more of a worry. They have no idea where they will be able to go once they are forced from their home. The property is due to be condemned any day according to the city council. Our hope with this go fund me effort is to provide Don and Lupe with enough money to purchase a new home for themselves so they aren't forced into substandard living conditions in their golden years.
