Don and Kay Abrams - Don's Fight with Leukemia
Donation protected
Don Abrams has Acute Myeloid Leukemia; he began his journey in November 2018 with chemo and now radiation. God has placed Don at UAB, the best possible place for treatment. The doctors have been caring, consistent and willing to treat him aggressively. They are leaving no stone unturned! For this we are grateful. After finishing 3 rounds of chemo and beginning 15 days of radiation, Don will enter the transplant phase of treatment. Please join us in prayer as we begin this journey, a journey that is totally new to us. This was definitely NOT on Don's infamous "Bucket List" and we have no idea what is in store for the next few days, weeks, or months. But we are steadfast in our faith and we began this journey clinging to His promises to walk with us every step of the way. During the radiation treatments and the transplant treatment phases, Kay and Don will be required to remain in Birmingham. A town where they have no contacts, family or friends. We are setting up this account for people who wish to donate toward their medical expenses, which will include living expenses in Birmingham for the next 100 days. God bless you if you can give. Your prayers are always appreciated as Don completes this Leukemia journey, one day at a time! We know who holds the keys to the Kingdom and NOTHING is too big for our God!
