Hi my name is Dale, I am setting up this fundraiser for Don and Joan Rollin. There will be a spaghetti and meat ball dinner at the Wellington Eagles on Aug. 7 from 2-6 pm. with 50/50 drawings and tip boards and a door prize. the cost is $25 and all proceeds go to the family.         Since the onset of Covid, Don and his family have spent the last couple years being extremely cautious, knowing he was at high risk for infection due to a double lung transplant in 2016. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, Don tested positive for Covid in January 2022. He was admitted to the hospital with Covid pneumonia and put on a ventilator shortly thereafter which he remains on to this day. A tracheostomy procedeure was done in the ICU for him

to do the many therapies needed for his body and lungs to heal. Under his circumstances, the road to recovery has been a long one. He has encountered multiple infections and obstacles over his 5 month stay in 3 different facilities. He is working very hard to become strong enough to come home finally, however there are many challenges ahead.  So please if you cannot attend, please donate generously. Thank you
