Hello dear friends and family,

Dom is turning 39 on July 22!

We'll be in the UK from the end of June, but we won’t be having a birthday party this year.

We’re due to return to Brazil in early August, and Dom is truly gutted to be missing two special events shortly after:

His good mate Dan’s wedding to the lovely Emma on 13 September

The Women’s Rugby World Cup in Exeter — especially since Brazil is playing and Dom knows many of the players!

The quarterfinals are taking place at Sandy Park in Exeter on 14 September, and it would mean the world to him to be there — especially if any of you can join!

So, I’ve come up with a surprise:

I’d love to send Dom back to the UK that weekend so he can attend both the wedding and the match.

The only catch is: flights are quite expensive — about £900 for a return direct flight, flying out after work on 11 September and returning Monday 15 September.

Unfortunately, I can’t cover the full cost on my own, so I thought it would be lovely to make this a group gift — something meaningful that you can all be a part of!

Also, with so much still up in the air, we’re not even sure if we’ll be able to come back to the UK for Dom’s 40th next year. So this could double as an early birthday present too.

If you’d like to contribute any amount towards making this surprise happen, I would be so grateful — and I know Dom would be over the moon.
