Hey everyone,

This isn’t something I ever thought I’d have to do, but I’m reaching out because I’m in a tough spot right now.

My eldest cat, Domi, has been seriously ill and undergoing ongoing vet treatments that have become increasingly expensive. He’s not just a pet — he’s my son, my companion, my rock. He’s been with me through thick and thin, and at just 7 years old, he deserves a fighting chance at a longer, healthy life.

Unfortunately, I recently injured my wrist pretty badly and was off work for about four months. I’ve only just returned, and even then, it’s been part-time after a challenging year. I’ve always prided myself on handling things on my own — I work hard, and I’ve never been one to ask for help like this. But these past couple of months have been overwhelming.

Domi has been in and out of the vet for almost two months now, and while we’re doing everything we can, he’s not improving without further specialist care — and that care comes at a steep cost. My latest bill was over $900, and there’s more to come. It’s reached a point where I can’t keep up financially, no matter how much I want to.
