Domino’s Palliative Care
Donation protected
Our hearts are absolutely broken to share that our Domino has been diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer. It’s aggressive, and we have been advised to let him go as soon as possible as he is in pain from not being able to pee on his own.
The second option is an obscenely expensive stent surgery that will buy him a few good weeks at most. We completely understand why our vets say most people veto this option as it’s a lot of money in exchange for very little time. However, selfishly we cannot stand letting our spotty son go just yet, the diagnosis was so sudden and he was a perfectly happy healthy boy just two weeks ago! We would love to have these few more days so that we can take him to his favourite parks and make his last days super fun and special before he crosses that bridge in the comfort of his home.
Vet bills are insanely expensive, and we might be insane to think this amount of money is reasonable but to be honest he is our world, he has brought us so much joy it’s the least we can do for him ❤️
