Dominic's Fund for Invention Idea

My name is Dominic Pinnisi. I am a teenager with big aspirations and even bigger ideas. I'm always looking for things to invent and/or problems to fix -- especially problems which make the lives of Americans quite difficult.

As we all know, we live in an era in which American society is becoming increasingly divided, especially over controversial topics such as race and police. I have an idea for an invention that will help alleviate the tension during an encounter between a police officer and a US citizen. I do not feel that I am entitled to take a side on such an issue, given that my only source of knowledge of these incidents comes from videos posted on Twitter and through information relayed by the media. But what I can say is this: for every problem, there is always a solution. I believe that I have an idea for an invention that will make everyone feel safer during these encounters -- both police officers and citizens. Hopefully this invention would accomplish more than just alleviating the tension in these scenarios; hopefully, it would save countless lives and ultimately ignite the reunification of American people into one nation.

I am in need of funding so that I can afford to pay for a patent lawyer to review my patent application and ensure that I do not infringe upon any pre-existing patents. I cannot describe my invention at this point in time, because doing so would defeat the purpose of acquiring a patent and my idea could easily be stolen. Rest assured, you will certainly know about this invention if I receive the patent and if my invention is properly marketed.

Let me restate that I do not take any side on this issue. I have great respect for police officers. I am simply looking at these situations from an engineering perspective.
