Hi! My name is Dominic. I'm a 20-year-old broke college student from Michigan with a minimum wage part-time job to keep me afloat.

Recently, I took a vacation with some friends to Canada (my first vacation since I was a kid), and on the drive, my car decided it would be funny to lose a couple of vital pieces from the undercarriage in the middle of the highway, which resulted in a complete engine failure and a scrap car.

Still not entirely sure what happened, but the leading theory is there was a major rupture in the oil system, which caused an oil line to burst and caused a small engine fire. I plan on scrapping my car; however, the title was in my bedroom drawer 600 miles away, not to mention across the border.

I've been lucky enough to be able to stay at a friend's house in Canada, and my dad has shipped the title to his address. The problem, however, is that the title has been stuck "in transit" for over 10 days with no updates and seems to be lost. This has been a bigger problem because I've been staying in Canada waiting for the title, and the longer I'm here, the more days of work I have to call off and therefore the more money I lose.

It's hard for me to post something like this because I don't like asking people for help unless I really need to, but my car was the backbone of my life, and it allowed me to keep going to school while earning enough money to get by. I don't need a fancy supercar, but any amount of donated money to help me get a hunk of metal that can get me around to where I need to go would be greatly appreciated!
