Dominic's burial and related costs

My name is Adriel Green and I am the older brother of Dominic Green. I am sadly organizing this GoFundMe on my family's behalf.

Dominic , or Nico, as he was affectionately called by family, was found dead during a wellness check on Monday, 1/17. Although, with life and a busy schedule we often only heard from him every few weeks, after many days of unreturned calls and texts, and contact with his very worried supervisor, we began to fear the worst. Our greatest fear was realized when he was found dead in his bed, apparently of natural causes.

Nico loved his family, his cousins, aunts, and uncles very much, and we all love and miss him dearly. He was taken from us far too soon, at age 28. He had recently started a career in Epidemiology in Los Angeles, at a job in which he excelled and loved. He was excited to be a new uncle, and was looking to help out with our upcoming baby shower. We were even just talking this past week about grabbing some outdoor equipment so we can go camping when he visits Yosemite for the first time. This feels surreal even typing this. We are devastated, and have more questions than answers at this time.

The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help cover travel costs for family, as well as funeral and burial/cremation expenses. Our father recently underwent an extensive spinal surgery, and the family was in the process of recouping from those medical costs when we learned of Nico's unexpected passing. We appreciate the outpouring of support from friends and family. Any amount helps.
