Help Dominick attend SAB this Summer
Donation protected
Fifteen-year-old Dominick Scherer is a rising star at Miami ballet School.
Starting his dancing career as a young boy at the Miami City Ballet School in 2014, Dominick quickly showed his talent at the craft, joining the school’s production of the Nutcracker Ballet in 2015.
By 2019, Dominick was starring as the leading man – the Prince – in the holiday drama, a role he held for three straight years. He was even honored to star in Brightline trains’ 2022 commercial in collaboration with Miami City Ballet, and featured in a pandemic-era TV spot for the Today Show.
Now, Dominick is on the verge of taking the next step in his burgeoning career, but he needs your help.
He’s been accepted into the School of American Ballet’s Summer Intensive program in New York City, a lifetime dream. SAB is one of the top ballet training programs and has an acceptance rate of only 10-13% for dancers.
The problem is, the room and board deposit for the program alone is $900. That’s not including the registration fee, tuition deposits, activity fees, and much much more.
Dominick needs to have all of his deposits turned in by April. His family works hard for every dollar, and he attends school through merit scholarships. He won’t be able to afford the program on his own, but he’s so desperate to go and explore this new chapter of his art.
This is where you can help. Any donation you can provide is a huge blessing. If you can help him pay off his deposits before April, you’ll be a part of the next rising ballet star’s journey to the bigtime.
Please leave Dominick a note with your donation, as he’d love to read the encouraging messages from each and every one of you. He’s a humble boy, but he deserves all the love we can shower on him.
Thank you in advance for your help, and God bless.
