Dominican Republic Round 2

Dear Family and Friends,
I hope that you all have had a wonderful start to 2017! I know that I am very much looking forward to this upcoming year. 

I have been given the opportunity to return to Constanza, Dominican Republic this summer, and I could not be more excited to return to those kids and serve an incredible God once again! 

For those of you who do not know, I will be traveling with Here For Kids International, a California Bay Area non-profit that sends collegiate student athletes to the Dominican Republic to run sports camps and activities for orphaned youth.  Here For Kids partners with Kids Alive International, a non-profit in over 14 countries that has built orphanages and schools for abandoned and abused children for over 100 years ( www.kidsalive.org ).  I am extremely excited for this opportunity to serve, as I know that my life will undoubtedly change once again in this one short but incredible week.

During my time in the Dominican Republic, I will be serving alongside a team of roughly 15 other college students from California Baptist University. We will be returning to the same orphangae we served at last summer, and my heart is overjoyed knowing that I get to see those kids again! God has truly placed Constanza on my heart, and I cannot wait to get back and continue to develop the relationships I started with the kids there last summer.

Our days will again consist of running sports camps for over 100 children ages 4-18, and participating in construction projects that will help Kids Alive to continue to house, feed and educate vulnerable youth. I know that I will be extremely blessed to visit the Dominican Republic again and to learn and grow in new and profound ways!

With that being said, my hope in posting this campaign is that you would  join me in serving those in need.  There are two ways you can support. The first, and most important, is prayer. Please be praying for our team as we return to Constanza this summer, for lives to change and a deeper understanding of love and unity to be felt amongst our global community. Second, if you are feeling called to do so, you can also support my trip financially. I am so grateful for any donations you can make, and would be so blessed by any contribution.
