Hello everyone, this is Alan Covert. I’m raising money for my current mission project, Dominican Republic 3! I will be going back to the Dominican Republic June 1 to June 10, 2026. I have become established and have four projects on my current trip, each making a real difference in the Dominican Republic.
The Robles Foundation brings together shut-in senior citizens and people with disabilities, giving them a sense of community with weekly get-togethers. At Escuela Abigail Mejia, we’re raising money to build an awning on their bleachers so the children don’t fall and get injured. For Juan Calvino Christian School, we’re raising money to build classrooms for young Haitian children who need a safe place to learn. Finally, for the prison ministry, we’re purchasing Bibles and supplies for prisoners and visiting various prisons to offer hope and support.
Every dollar raised will go directly to these projects. I’m covering all my own expenses, including transportation, lodging, and food. For everyone who has donated before, thank you. I went to the Dominican Republic originally with no clear plan, but quickly became associated with good organizations and now need your help. If you can make a donation, that’s wonderful. If you can’t, please pray for me. ONE THING I AM ASKING DIFFERENTLY THIS TIME IS FOR YOU TO SPREAD THE WORD WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND OTHERS WHO MIGHT FEEL CALLED TO DONATE. Your support in any form means the world to me and those you are helping. I can’t wait to tell you the stories when I get back. Thanks again for everyone who has supported me!
