The 3rd annual Dominic Strong Fundraising campaign raises funds for CDG CARE, a non-profit organization that supports and helps families that have been effected by Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation. 

CDG is an ultra rare disease, so rare in fact, that there are only around 200 known cases in the US. Dominic, 2.5 years old, is one of them, which basically means he's pretty unique and incredibly special.  CDG affects the entire body, Dominic has a specialist for pretty much every system and main organ in his little body. No, he doesn't walk or talk and no-one can say if he ever will, BUT he makes up for it with his GIANT personality that I'm pretty sure is going to change the world.

CDG CARE was the guiding light in a sudden room of darkness. The hope that carried me through the hardest year of our lives. Being a member on the Board of Directors for CDG CARE for the last 2 years, as well as just coming back from our Family Conference, I have personally seen what a difference they are making and what positive effect they have had throughout our community. They have helped fund promising clinical trials, provided education to families worldwide, supported research that is still ongoing during these uncertain times, helped newly diagnosed families gain knowledge and find the care they need, but most importantly have given families the motivation to stay strong and keep fighting, especially during the present crisis we are in. Most recently, CDG CARE is covering the costs and sending ALL of our families cloth masks to ensure our rare community is safe.
