Missions Trip to Dominican Republic - 2025

Hello!

My name is Kim, and I have the wonderful opportunity to go the Dominican Republic this summer for a mission trip. I also have the honor of taking my 10yr old son with me. This will be his 1st mission trip, and I am so elated to share this amazing experience with him.

I love being a part of mission trips with Go Ministries. My family has supported this mission for years. This ministry has a huge piece of my heart, and I love the heart they have for the people of the DR and showing them the love of Christ. "GO Ministries empowers local leaders to make disciples as God REDEEMS people, RENEWS communities and RESTORES creation through mutual transformation."

We will be doing street ministry, Vacation Bible School, and a lot of construction in various communities around Santiago.

My son and I need to raise $2,500 to go on this trip. This will help cover the material we need to buy while we are down there (as we cannot take everything – especially construction material in our luggage) and our housing/food/transportation for the week.

For the last few years, I have also been collecting Tylenol, Ibuprofen, and Tums (for both kids and adults) to be donated to the GO MEDICAL clinic. These are medicines that they cannot get easily on the island.
