On October 20, 2025, at around 1 a.m., our beloved Carly, mother of 4, was lured into a car under false pretenses and then brutally attacked by her ex-boyfriend — someone she hadn’t been with in over three years. Out of jealousy and control, he attempted to take her life.

Carly was stabbed more than nine times — in the neck, chest, abdomen, back, arm, and hands as she fought for her life. By sheer strength, survival instinct, and divine intervention, she escaped and got help before it was too late.

She survived an attempted murder.

Because of the courage of the community and the swift work of police, the suspect was later located and arrested. He is now being held pending prosecution — but the lasting impact of his violence is only beginning for Carly.

Carly’s Challenges Ahead

Although she is home from the hospital, Carly now faces:

On top of all of this, while Carly’s car and purse remained in police custody as evidence, her bank card was stolen and used fraudulently — adding even more stress to a situation already filled with fear and trauma.

Her car — the crime scene — was held as evidence. Even when she gets it back, she now has to face the trauma of sitting again in the seat where she nearly died.

This event has changed her life forever — physically, emotionally, and financially.
