Domestic Missionaries Suffer Flooding
In the early 1990’s, Randy Imel was instrumental in establishing the congregation of the Church of Christ in Frenchburg, Kentucky. In June 2000, he and his wife Cathy began laboring with the mission church and moved into the church’s parsonage. The Imel’s have dedicated the past 21 years to the Lord’s work in Menifee County, Kentucky, and have labored in the Lord’s vineyard at other congregations.
On July 30, 2021, the parsonage suffered catastrophic damage in a flash flood, and Randy and Cathy lost nearly all their possessions. Acts 2:44-45 and 4:32-37 demonstrate how the early church rallied around their brethren who were in need; let us, the modern church, rally around these servants of God.
Your help is greatly appreciated. God bless!
