Domestic Abuse Rescue - Help my friend get out!

Please help my dear friend get out of an abusive situation and back on her feet!

My best friend is in a dire situation and my heart is breaking for her. She needs help. (I am not disclosing her name for safety reasons and did not want to show her in the picture).

A little background:

My friend met her boyfriend last year. She was instantly taken with him but from the start of their relationship he was manipulating her and pushing her away from her closest friends and family. He purposefully made it so he was the only person she had. He then convinced her to move hundreds of miles away from us. No job, no money, no friends or family. After moving is when he started to get physically abusive. He then manipulated her into taking out a loan in her name through his “friend” who collected a large fee. They had no money so she felt this was her only option. He is holding those funds hostage in his account that she has no access to. Things have continued to escalate and now she is realizing she needs out before it gets worse. She was hoping he would give her the loan funds but I feel she needs to just try to leave as soon as possible.

Please help me help my friend get away from her boyfriend and started fresh somewhere far away. She will be leaving a lot behind so she’ll have very little cookware, furniture, etc. she has 2 dogs and a cat. She will basically have to start fresh somewhere.

These funds will help her get a new place far away, help pay for moving/travel costs, give her a fresh start and cover living expenses while she gets a job (a portion will also cover some of our travel and up front costs as we help get her situated).

People ask for GoFundMe donations all the time. I just figured maybe helping a woman who has battled depression and bipolar disorder get out of a horrible abusive relationship seemed like a good reason for a community to band together. If you can’t give or don’t want to give I understand and it is okay! But if you can even just give $10 or share this with your community I would greatly appreciate it.
