On August 13th the Dombrowski family was thrown into a panic when Noella got the call that Matt was trapped under an excavator, and to come quickly. By the time she arrived they had successfully cut the machine away and he was whisked away by the amazing first responders to be transported to the hospital via LifeStar.

They experienced every family's worst nightmare that day. The fear, worry and pain was finally met with relief as, after hours and hours, the doctors were able to confirm that, miraculously, he did not have any fractures, but his thigh was severely lacerated. He is now home to continue recovery and physical therapy.

Let me tell you little bit about Matt Dombrowski. He's a guy who ADORES his family. He works hard, physically, every day. He is the guy that is THRILLED to coach basketball in town, helps out with baseball, never misses a soccer game. He's the person you call when you want a badass stone wall or chimney repair. He'll fix your car, install a new patio and then get home in time to hop in the lil pool with his boys, Mason and Tom, and you hear them screeching with delight because "Fun Dad" is finally home.

Matt is a small business owner. A mason. He will be out of work for an unforeseeable amount of time. I think this is what Go Fund Me is for...a time when maybe we can give a family a little breather and let them know it's ok to take the time to heal and not think about bills for a minute.
